Hooray for Hannah
16 October 2015
Hi, I'm Hannah, I'm 14 years old.
In May we found out someone very special to us has secondary breast cancer.
It was devastating to hear the news and heartbreaking to have to accept it. However, it inspired me to (secretly) research what I could do to help people as they face cancer and its side effects.
It was some time later that I told my family that I wanted to donate my hair. I remember crying, but smiling, as I knew that my plans could help make a difference.
After making my decision, many people asked me if I was sure that I wanted to do this, but I said the same thing every time, "my hair will grow again, others might not have that chance".
This amazing lady and this cause mean so much to me and I know it will be emotional, but I know that down the line there will be a child who can have a wig, helping them look like they did before their treatment.
I would be extremely grateful if you could help me and donate to this amazing charity. Thank you, Hannah
